Signs you need rodent control

• Droppings behind the toaster, under the sink or along a pantry shelf
• Scratching inside a wall once the house goes quiet at night
• Chewed packaging, or teeth marks on cable insulation and pipe lagging
• A flat musky smell in a cupboard that returns after you clean it
• Dark smear marks along baseboards where they run the same path nightly

Why it happens

Rodents get in through openings most people would never call a hole. A mouse clears a gap the width of a pencil; a rat needs about the diameter of a quarter. In your area the usual routes are the gap around an AC line set, a garage door corner where the seal has hardened, and weep holes left unscreened.

The part people underestimate

Two mice become a resident population inside one season. Trapping without sealing means you are managing the symptom on a subscription.

How we handle it

Identify the species, remove what is present, seal every route in, then clean up what was left behind. Those last two steps are the difference between a fix and a postponement, and they are inside the quoted price rather than added later.
